The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been established at the global level to help create a more sustainable planet and a free, prosperous and peaceful society and localizing these objectives at the sub-national level is of paramount importance.
Through these three courses, you will learn how the SDGs align with actions already undertaken by Local and Regional Governments (LRGs). You will discover strategies for mapping and raising awareness about the SDGs, understand how SDGs can be integrated into policy and city planning, and learn how LRGs can engage and benefit from the monitoring and reporting process of Agenda 2030.
